Staying here was refreshing, with a friendly atmosphere away from the hustle. The spacious room featured lovely linen, and the terrace offered captivating evening views, making it perfect for a nightcap. Breakfast included golden malted waffles, a delightful start each day. However, daytime heat on the terrace was a concern, and the location, while quiet, was slightly farther from the main attractions than desired.

La Villa Serena offers such a peaceful retreat. The property is beautifully landscaped with vibrant plants and flowers. The breakfast each morning was fantastic, especially the generous scrambled eggs cooked with tomatoes and onions. The rooftop terrace provided stunning views of the surrounding area and was perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. I loved the quirky decor in my Large Twin Room. each room has a unique theme. However, the room felt a bit warm at night, as there wasn't much cross ventilation, and I had to ask for a fan to help cool it down. Despite this, the staff were incredibly accommodating and made my stay enjoyable. Additionally, I appreciated the location being slightly away from the hustle of the main center, allowing for a quiet environment, though it meant a longer walk to attractions.

The spacious Deluxe Queen Room featured comfortable beds, a clean environment, and unique charm. Location offered a quiet retreat from the more chaotic parts of town, which I appreciated after a long day.
While the hotel provided a nice retreat, the distance to the center meant a solid 10-18 minute walk into town that could feel tedious after multiple trips in a day. The walls were quite thin, which caused some disturbances from nearby rooms and outside noise, breaking the potential tranquility.

Ideal for quiet getaways
You just can’t beat the tranquility of this place. I spent hours on the rooftop with a book, the view of the volcano is stunning! And, the courtyard’s flowering plants? They make breakfast feel like a morning feast.
Didn’t come cheap but you get what you pay for.
